Tips

  • A Lower Greenville mainstay, Teppo offers incredibly fresh sushi and rotating offerings of tasty bivalves like razor clams and oysters in a sleek but cozy atmosphere. [Eater 38 Member]
  • Absolutely the best sushi in Dallas but "shhh" don't tell anybody!
  • Best part about this place other than the food...NO DANCE MUSIC!!
  • Mad meatsicles, yo!
  • tuna carpaccio!
  • Sired by Teiichi Sakurai in 1995 and since sold, Teppo still floats to the top of the Dallas sushi outposts, now as thick as krill across our own special cowboy concrete landscape.
  • Hands down best sushi in Dallas. Make sure to order the Teppo roll.
  • Dark brown sugar panna cotta... wowsers!
  • Teppo gets a bonus for having the best mackerel that's ever graced my palate. If you live anywhere near East Dallas, make this your neighborhood spot.
  • Shoshito peppers are an easy entry in to something beyond the California roll. Very buttery. Louisiana roll is excellent! Try many yakutori, they are cheap and what the restaurant is known for.
  • A sushi. Or not. But always, a lychee saketini.
  • This Greenville Avenue spot is a gem in every sense. It's small, intimate and the sushi is out of this world. Bonus: it's open late-night for post-bar hopping booze absorption.
  • One of the best places for great sushi (this does not mean California rolls)!
  • Loved the hamachi carpaccio.
  • You now have to order a chefs yakitori tasting menu for two for $60. Now more ordering individually. Bummer although you get plenty of yakitori with the tasting menu.
  • Great steak yakitori, udon, chicken rice bowl, and all the desserts! Can't go wrong
  • Tracy Miller, chef of Local, eats here on her nights off. She loves the Soft shell crab roll.
  • Don't forget to order some desert!! u won't regret!!!
  • Long time standard in Dallas and for good reason.
  • Grilled rice balls are Yummy
