Tips

  • Trust the local's. There is not a Mexican restaurant that is better.
  • Never coming here again. Never trust a Mexican restaurant where only white people work. Glad they didn't charge me for my meal, but I'm still hungry because I'm not eating this.
  • Quintessential old-school Sonoran fare. The machaca borders on magical. A cheese crisp is practically mandatory.
  • One of Larry's old haunts and we go here when on the east side. Food is great!
  • I'm super picky about Mexican food, being a Texan, but I dig this place. My only complaint is that the margaritas are way too small.
  • Pretty decent Mexican food! Can't go wrong! The Chile Reallno dinner special is crazy awesome! It's an egg souffl over the chile with an amazing chile sauce! The tacos are also really good! Stop in!
  • Excellent! Try the Tee Pee Original Chili Relleno dinner. Not your average chili relleno but the presentation is awesome and it tastes great too!
  • Guacamole is AMAZing! Margs are great too
  • Just happened to be put at President Bush's table. Great Mexican food!
  • Can't wait to see the new patio!
  • Probably the worst Mexican food I have had and the service is terribly slow. I would leave before you order.
  • Without a doubt the BEST Mexican food I have ever ate!
  • The best chimichanga in town and the perfect cheese crisp in Phoenix!!
  • I can't believe what I read in these tips. The facilities are old in a bad way. The service is slow. The food is worse than taco bell. It must be some kind of horrible joke on our fair city.
  • An old school Phx Mexican food mainstay. The machaca plate is great. Don't forget to add a cheese crisp!
  • Margarita and Chili Relleno? This is the spot. Delicious and authentic Mexican food in a spot doing it for years. Lunch is a little less crowded but they have a great atmosphere for dinner.
  • Street Tacos Al Pastor are terrible - burnt to a crispy mess.
  • Shredded beef tacos and house margherita
  • Very disappointed, not what it used to be, won't be going back.
  • Carne Asada soft taco
