Tips

  • Good sushi, but you've got to admire the automatic toilet seat warmers.
  • Get the 1/2 order of the Soba or Udon and sushi. Have your soup and sushi too! I wish more Japanese restaurants offered 1/2 sized bowls of soup. Oishi!!
  • Lunch specials
  • Great, friendly service; sushi is decent. The sushi rice is very good, very well balanced. Retro songs at lunchtime: "Pretty woman", "Sugar honey honey", "Let it be", "Rock around the clock", etc.
  • Best sushi in Denver in my opinion. Friendly atmosphere and great service. You really get the authentic feel here. No funny business, just great sushi
  • At Sushi Tazu, sake is served warm in wooden boxes, green tea is a deep and smoky jade, and any discrepancy between one plate of salmon maki and the next would have to be measured with a micrometer.
  • Delish. They close between lunch and dinner and you may have to hunt down the waitress if you're sitting outside but loved the sashimi!
  • Try the Red Bean Ice Cream - #Dessert...loved yummy red beans! Side note: Don't forget to check out their restroom--has fancy Japanese toilet seat :P
  • Try the Katsudon - #Noodles...1/2 order. Fish cakes arrived later--not part of 1/2 order in menu, but gave to me anyway. Liked it a lot...probably chilly weather helped.
  • Try the Assorted Sushi - #Sushi, Maguro (tuna), Ebi (shrimp), Tako (octopus), Kani (crab leg), & Spicy Scallop...my kind Happy Hour!
  • Came for the sushi, stayed for the toliets.
  • Good food. TERRIBLE service
  • Volcano Roll! Amazing
  • Apparently the creme brullee was off as well. I think whatever milk they use to make it went bad.
  • Do not try the green tea cheesecake or the pumpkin flan. :(
  • When in Denver and wanting good sushi, definitely come here. Delicious and great service.
  • Sushi was quite good, and brown rice is a nice option to have. The oshinko and the wakame salad was excellent, as was the service.
  • Let the chef choose what you eat
  • Toilet is so cool. Dynamite is so yummy, sashimi is thick piece which is great, love services :)
  • Friendly service, that we accidentally made stay a bit past closing.
