Foursquare Tips

  • Wonderful fresh ingredients and an escape from the outside world. Spider rolls and salmon skin sushi are great. Try the seaweed salad too!
  • A hidden gem. Super fresh sashimi and wonderful soft-shell crab.
  • Mackerel sashimi
  • Fantastic! Had Miso soup and the 8 sashimi, looking for Sushi, don't look further
  • Authentic and not too expensive. So delicious
  • Authentic Japanese restaurant with wonderful sushi. usually busy during lunch, but you can get a bento take out
  • Sushi sashimi
  • A hidden gem in Leather lane. Great traditional Japanese dishes and fresh sushi. Always full of Japanese - I am taking it as a good sign :)
  • One of the top Japanese restaurants in London. Just order anything, you won't be disappointed.
  • A really nice Japanese restaurant in the city. You'll find many Japanese patrons here which is a good sign.
  • Tajimatei bento - can't go wrong
  • Great sushi, but it doesn't come cheap. If you're in a rush, try Soya across the street if you want equally tasty (although not as artfully presented), to go.
  • Both set dinners we tried were very good: sushi & teriaki chicken. They have a great attention for detail.
  • Sushi and sashimi. Fish is very fresh. A hidden gem
  • Sushi rolls - they're massive! Ones enough for a full meal. Delicious and made with warm rice like they should be.
  • It's supposed to be fresh so if that's the best you can say...Okasame was clearly pre-made as it took all of 2 mins to come out...w no explanation of what was what. Service was virtually nonexistent.
  • It's reasonably priced and very fresh fish. When I went people there were 95% Japanese. It's good sign for authenticity!
  • Sushi combo is the way to go.
  • The best Japanese restaurant I've been by far, especially but definitely not limited to sushi.
  • Very tasty, if slightly pricey. The portions of sides are very generous though, so don't go overboard!
