Tips

  • The Po de l and the espadarte (swordfish) are amazing.
  • Everything was absolutely amazing, specially the tinned cod and the daily specials. All dishes are really oily: our hands were greasy in spite of using cutlery in a very civilised manner.
  • Everything is delicious. Broad breans and egg yolk. Pork sandwich. Swordfish. Can't go wrong here.
  • Have to order the pastel de nata and creamy sponge cake w/ olive oil. Wish they were served warm/hot though.
  • Very impressed by this low key restaurant. Amazing food and service. Very small menu. The cod bras is a must
  • Definitely book the desserts first
  • Get everything.
  • Make sure to keep space for desserts! Very adventurous as the combinations look odd but surprisingly enough were a match made in heaven. Also loved all the meat/pork dishes prepared on the grill!
  • All the rage but I was truly left a bit unimpressed. Dishes worth trying are tinned mussels, cured meats, and the excellent pao de lo (sponge cake).
  • Expensive but very tasty and interesting modern tapas dishes. Small portions except the sandwiches (which are both very nice). Cuttlefish and pig trotters dish, ox tongue and tinned cod were very good
  • Modern take on Portuguese cooking. Modern, not fusion.
  • Everything was fantastic, food (especially those sandwiches), environment and service
  • Octopus was delicious, as were the green beans, but everything else just okay. Service very hit and miss. Having eaten at Viajante, I was a little disappointed to be honest. Maybe high expectations?
  • Excellent place. Green bean fritters, any of the fish, meats, cheese. Wasn't a huge fan of the shrimp turnovers that were recommended.
  • The best little spot in the area
  • Fantastic Portuguese restaurant, authentic, with good wine list and friendly amazing service. The dessert with olive oil and raw eggs is surprisingly good.
  • The ultimate choice: the prego.
  • Everything is delicious. The 'tinned cod', the desserts and particularly the beef sandwich which I could happily eat every day.
  • Amazing Portuguese in a tapa's style. Everything is amazing!!!! But get the Lobster, prawn rissois, Serra da Estrada cheese. TRY ALL!!!!
  • Serra da Estrela. Red wine chorizo. Paleta de porco preto. Runner beans. OMG HAVE THE LOBSTER A BRAS or your life won't be worth leaving. For dessert, Toucinho do Ceu. You're welcome.
