Foursquare Tips

  • Come by Thursday and Friday 6-9pm when the secret wine bar opens.
  • In Oakland for First Friday and hungry? Skip the overcrowded food stalls and restaurants right near the action. Swans Market a 15 minute walk - good options and space to sit and chill with friends.
  • Its like a hipster food court. Very chill. Good selection of food and bev. Its in Old Oakland. Colorful neighborhood in transition or gentrification? You decide!
  • Lots of great options. The taco place was fantastic.
  • Basically a trendy food court with an emphasis on locally sourced ingredients
  • Taylor's Sausage... The best sausages in Oakland.
  • My favorite place to eat in Oakland, especially if I'm dining with friends! Swan's Market has great restaurants and everyone should be able to find something they like.
  • Food court / incubator in Oakland. Get the oysters at The Cook and Her Farmer, the split-pea fritters at Miss Ollie's, the wild shrimp tacos at Cosecha, and the matcha affogato at B-Dama.
  • Like a way more chill version of SF's ferry building.
  • It's pretty cool here. It's really just a bunch of restaurants and a meat market that take up a building that spans a whole block. Like a ultra mini version of the SF ferry building.
  • The pizza place is no longer there, so main vegetarian options are limited to overpriced kale salad or grilled cheese.
