Tips

  • This outlet of Starbucks is 4,500 sq. ft- almost thrice the size of the average Starbucks store in any foreign country.
  • Have the chai from the tapri outside while you wait in line to get inside.
  • This first outlet in Mumbai is huge. Foreigners claim this one to be the most biggest. The ambience is very Indian: old boxes, dummy books, a hand-grinding machine and large photographs.
  • The menu has a variety of Italian coffees, tea and the usual assortment of snacks and dessert. I ordered a Java Chip Frappuccino.
  • Starbucks inaugurated its first store in India on 19th Oct,2012 in a historic building in southern Mumbai as the Seattle-based coffee giant seeks growth in a market long associated with tea drinkers.

  • Starbucks is very positive about the opportunities in India and feels it could be one of the largest markets for Starbucks in the world one day.
  • Starbucks has a mezzanine, two service counters, and communal tables. The teakwood furnished store is decked in a warm rust and coffee brown palette.

  • Paneer roll or stuffed corn burger n capachino... The works n the pastries are also yuum....: p
  • Most of them are thronging here for two reasons. First, Indians are curious. Secondly, they have aggressively priced their coffee (95 for a Cappuccino Caff Latte).
