Foursquare Tips

  • I was disappointed in the price, the hardcore reservation rules, and the taste. The cocktails and wine selection were on point. The food looks beautiful but it wasnt incredible.
  • VERY special occasion place. Book early! Expensive and hard to get in, but earns every bit of its praise. LOVE the fixed menu--no choices, you eat the courses they bring and they're all delicious.
  • One of the greatest fine dining experiences Ive ever had.
  • Chef Ryan Smith's tasting menus have garnered nothing but critical praise, including four out of four stars from Atlanta Magazine
  • The chicken liver tart is indescribable. I could eat it for dessert. But that would deny me the pleasure of the actual dessert which was a smile on a plate.
  • Set an alarm to make reservations when they make them available. A 4 person table is ideal so you can order everything in the menu and share.
  • LOVE this restaurant. Beautiful space, great staff and service and DELICIOUS food
  • Hands down the best restaurant in Atlanta - and one of the best in the country! Not only was the food creative and delicious, the service was impeccable. I can't wait to go back!
  • The chicken liver tart is a MUST TRY!
  • Ryan Smith's dishessilky-smooth chicken liver topped with tart Meyer lemon jelly, fried-chicken skins with honey and whipped sauce, red snapper in fermented-shrimp brothare technical and intricate.
  • The prix fixe might include wonderfully intense, aged-on-the-bone duck breast with peach puree and dill oil; the chicken liver tart featured regularly as an a la carte item is outstanding.
  • Chef Ryan Smith's tasting menus are garnered nothing but critical praise. Staplehouse was one of five national finalists for the 2016 James Beard Foundation's Best New Restaurant award.
  • We like to make a special night of it and pop for the tasting. Then again, its fun to sit on the patio with a cocktail and some $5 potato bread. Even better? Reservations arent hardyet.
  • If you've been trained by the excesses of other tasting menus to shudder at the term, give one of Smith's five-course menus a chance.
  • Staplesmith's puffy chips were inspired by surprisingly humble ingredients: scraps! The half-dozen-step process produces what's been called "the best chips youll ever taste in your life."
  • Creative and inventive cooking at its best. Can order a la carte now. They change the menu regularly but if grandmas potato bread is on the menu, it's unassumingly delicious.
  • Put yourself in the hands of the amazing staff and enjoy the ride!
  • Recently rated 3 stars by Creative Loafing, Staplehouse is the perfect mix of homestyle, high-end food with perfect service. Make sure to ask for their tasting menu to go with the selection of wines.
  • Went for Kick the Cask. Excited about this Giving Kitchen owned restaurant. Beautiful space in O4W. Loved the snack that reminded me of Thai rice crisps.
  • Great service, food and experience (drinks were good too). Love it and can't wait to go back.
