Tips
- The menu says duck breast, but the collards & beans underneath are a revelation. Also a must-order is the sweetbreads as a starter. One of the best meals I've ever had in Raleigh.
- Weak vegetarian offerings (one small plate salad, one pasta entree) but a robust libations menu with craft offerings
- Adventurous souls who explore the meaning behind crispy pig head will discover that its a croquette of minced pork (jowl, mostly) topped with a poached duck egg.
- Fish and Chips were best I've had. Sweet potato bisque was worthy of bathing. Everything was fantastic.
- Krispy Kreme bread pudding is ridiculous and locally grown.
- The grilled ceaser salad and bolted bread!
- The fried green tomato with burrata is obscenely delicious.
- The seasonal crostinis are always delicious.
- Mushroom bisque is ridiculous
- Steak tartar really unique. Try it as your appetizer
- Wonderful gem in downtown Raleigh. The grilled romaine salad and beef tartare are my favorites.
- Eat the things you would never think to eat. They will blow you away. Go big or go home!
- As good as advertised! Te beef tartare is absolutely fantastic. Everything else is also very good. Thanks, Stanbury!
- make a reservation ahead
- Good good. Maybe not the greatest service given exprctations
- This place fucking rocks.... If you like to eat brains... Which I do.
- Amazing food. Can't wait to come back
- Pig head is interesting. Fried oysters are on point. Very reasonable drink prices. #winning
- Ribeye, marrow, oh yes
- Everything was amazing! My top choices, that we had, were the quail, the sea bass and fried oysters! Favorite new restaurant in Raleigh! Great job Stanbury!
