Foursquare Tips

  • Featuring the same beloved caramelos (basically tacos) and bocadillos (sandwiches), but with a pumped up small plate, entree, and cocktail selection. The early word is strong on this one.
  • Amazing Latin American food play in Minneapolis. Fresh food combined with some Uptown flair. Try the Mariscada picutered below. The tortillas are to die for!
  • Everything was delicious. Very fresh ingredients. Try the tacos. Yum!
  • The Sonora Burger was delish!
  • Today could be the day that you eat your first $10 hot dog.
  • Fantastic breakfast burrito!
  • Shrimp tacos are A+, and I liked my steak taco too. Really good margaritas.
  • The Mexican shrimp/skate soup is excellent
  • Taco Tuesday!
  • Nachos! And the cucumber margarita. Perfect patio pairing.
  • Chicken taco was one of the best anywhere.
  • The hash browns are simply outstanding! However, everything I have gotten there is amazing! Great flavors!
  • Everything is good here. I enjoyed the shrimp tacos a lot, and also the tongue tacos. Eggplant fries and kale starters were delish. Have also had the guacamole and chips, which are excellent.
  • The empanadas are my favorite. Daily happy hour from 2-5 and another late at night (9:00 weekdays, 10:00 weekends). Try out the tequila flights! Surprisingly smooth.
  • The kale with pancetta and feta (?) was amazing and the guacamole was delish. Definitely want to go back.
  • Dishes are seem to be too heavy on the aioli. Stick with the Caramellos and skip everything else.
  • You must try the eggplant fries!!! I don't even like eggplants but this changed my mind!
  • Try the unlikely contender, Khinkali -- we really enjoyed this Mexican spin on a Central Asian staple. These deep-fried pouches of well-spiced chorizo came floating on a thick tide of nutty sauce.
  • Tongue taco is killer. The tacos are a lot bigger than expected too. Two and the chips you get should be enough to fill you up.
  • Love it, great food - great people- great service.
