  • Don't show up on Mondays!!!
  • The standout at Sakuramen is the vegetarian ramen. It features a broth of Japanese kelp, layers of bamboo shoots, corn and mushrooms marinated like Korean bulgogi.
  • Their ramen is incredible and their spicy pork buns are as well. The service is very fast, the prices are fair, and the staff are very nice. I definitely recommend it.
  • Come to this tiny, underground ramen restaurant to try its spicy miso ramen, bulgogi buns, fiery kimchi and gyoza:
  • Try the Chashu Buns - So good
  • The Tonkotsu Red Ramen is absolutely fantastic, great pork broth made with Berkshire pork belly chashu, kikurage, menma, green onion, kuro mayo, and nori.
  • Start your meal of right with the Spicy Pork Buns, really delicious and a great appetizer before ramen.
  • Chasu Buns were a great starter and the Tonkatsu Ramen was excellent! Perfectly cooked noodles, fresh woodear mushrooms & delicious pork belly. 4/5 spicy is good if you have a decent heat tolerance.
  • This is one of the best ramen places I've been to in DC. The Chashu Buns are amazing! To top it all off the customer service is perfect!!
  • The hot teas, both citron and ginger are so, so good. Loved the steamed buns. Ramen still not *quite* as good as Toki, but the other things make up for it.
  • Incredible!! Expect to wait to be seated, but the turnaround is generally fast. The gold standard for ramen.
  • This is the best ramen spot in DC. Incredible customer service & delicious ramen. Make sure to get the bulgogi steamed buns while you hungrily wait for your steaming bowl of ramen.
  • Great ramen, but long waits. Smaller group the easier to get in.
  • The spicy pork buns aren't very spicy yet a 5 on the 1-10 scale for the ramen was a little bit too spicy for me.
  • No alcohol is served.
  • Was awesome great food
  • Loved the food. Be careful when you order spicy food, it is really spicy!
  • I love the bulgogi buns and shoki bowl!
  • pork buns & green tea mochi a must!
  • Go with the Sakuramen. If you're feeling adventurous, add an egg. Leave happy.
