Tips
- The cooking reflects the taste of a NC native who isnt afraid of seasoning his work with outside influences: Rhubarbs popular lamb ribs, for instance, are racy with a collard green kimchi.
- Lobster corn dogs are amazing. Sit at the counter to watch the chefs do their thing and maybe you'll get an extra treat like we did.
- Benton's bacon shows up in a bowl of mussels in a silken celery-fennel broth. The roasted whole trout bathes in wood smoke before joining a crisp potato-celeriac latke.
- The pecans and the kale chips are both excellent appetizers!
- The pork belly was incredible. Staff friendly and engaging. A unique farm to table experience!
- We had the gnudi (outstanding), asparagus (lovely), mushroom cassoulet (light yet hearty), grouper (sublime), duck (superb), and then there was dessert... everything was amazing right down to coffee.
- Pork belly, sea bass, wine and service. Eclectic interior.
- Everything is fresh and sourced locally, very good wine list.
- HIGHLAND BREWING WOLFGANG 1756 SYMPHONY LAGER Asheville NC 4.7% ABV 6
- Small portions. Excellent food. They charge for bread.
- Tomato salad, gnudi, lobster corn dogs
- The Snix dessert is very original and tastes good too.
- Don't leave Asheville without coming here.
- The marketplace dish is wonderful. Fresh veggies, some pickled and all prepared differently. It's a cold dish like a salad. Yum
- Goat Cheese Gundi is out of this world, and the krispy bar is served w amazing toasted coconut almond meringue. would eat it all again. like now.
- Lots of dirty pint glasses.
- You can sit at the kitchen bar and watch them prepare. Great food and atmosphere
