Tips

  • The pancakes are really good, so too is the aubergine dish.
  • The aubergine with coconut curry is amazing and also the beet cheera! This is the best Indian food I've ever eaten in a restaurant, and I've been all over India!
  • Great veggy curry! Had the feast - was absolutely stuffed! :)
  • Cabbage thoran (Time Out London's 100 Best Dishes)
  • Glad everyone enjoyed rasa ... I contracted very bad food poisoning from eating there ... Doctors and environmental health involved ... An inspection apparently revealed issues needin addressing
  • If there are two of you, just order one rice - the portions here are very generous
  • Order 1 of everthing in a big group. It's all amazing.
  • Nice restaurant to try out new food, small prices make it easy to try lots of food mostly vegetarian, vegan and gluten free. Its a bit loud and tables are really close from one another:
  • So much food and very cheap but I was disappointed by the flavors.
  • At first glance a bit over the top interior but the whole thing does come together. The food is fresh and full of taste, even for a meat lover!
  • The all-vegetarian Keralan cuisine is a local favourite, and the restaurant is almost alway heaving. Paratha here is a king of breads, while the Cheera Curry, with house made paneer, is unmissable.
  • Always wanted to come here but I was a bit disappointed. Maybe an off night but we had slow service, soggy poppadoms, roasting hot beer glasses and average food.
  • We ordered the feast where they choose what to serve you, and although it was hit and miss we tried things we wouldn't have otherwise and loved some!
  • Make a reservation. They don't seem to take kindly to walk-ins
  • Great southern indian cousine, which is not easy to find ... Small prices, but also small/normal portions. For me it was way too spicy, but if you like it is worth givin it a chance ;)
  • The food is great and the staff are friendly. Most definitely recommend the dosas and the little side dishes. The closest you get to south India without leaving London. Vegetarian's paradise!
  • Great value, delicious food
  • Lovely vegetarian food, the chutneys are awesome
  • One of the best Indian dinner experiences in London. Just amazing food. You won't even miss meat. ;)
  • This place is my heart. So cheap and delicious. Peanut butter and banana starter. Get all the house title dishes and a masala dosa. So good.
