  • Its a great secluded philly dining secret that has some really delectable Burmese dishes
  • Thousand layer bread with the potato sauce is delicious! Love the chicken with pickled cabbage too :)
  • so good! easier to get Burmese in Philly than in NY
  • When you order the chicken noodle soup, certain condiments have to be asked for as additionals. Ask!
  • Crispy Watercress Salad. Flash-fried watercress with a sweet and spicy dressing. Also spring ginger salad.
  • Great food and remember to get the thousand layer bread with curry chicken dip
  • Thousand layer bread and the coconut chicken noodle soup. Also the crab dumplings. All solid.
  • Top it up with the awesomest farluda drink
  • Try the chilli tofu... Truly heavenly experience for any one... Vegans, pescatarians or meat eaters... Rangoon never fails! :)
  • Thousand Layer Bread is always a must. Try the Mohinga (Festival Fish Noodle Soup) & Ohn No Khao Swe (Coconut Chicken Noodle Soup) for entrees and the Sweet Rice with Mango for dessert.
  • Everyone was right!!! The thousand layer bread with chicken curry dip is the bombdotcom!!!!!
  • get anything Jungle. the sauce is fantastic, and one of the most unique sauces there, in my opinion.
  • Don't leave here without getting the Festival Rice
  • Get the Thousand Layered Bread, Curry Potato Dip, and Tea Leaf Salad.
  • The lunch specials are a great value - the fried rice is very tasty. The soup was light and flavorful.
  • My favorites are not necessarily for the faint of heart/palate: the crispy watercress salad (sweet/sour dressing but very spicy) and the pork ahnyh tamin (quite pungent due to the shrimp paste).
  • Crispy Fish Meat Thoke
  • Good value, good service and tasty food. Not quite like being in Burma given that there every meal comes with a plethora of little side dishes, but I guess we are in America after all.
  • The thousand later bread with curry potato sauce is so good! So is the monsoon vegetable dish. The forluda was really interesting
  • Coconut shrimps is nice!
