Tips

  • The white pizza is fantastic!
  • The sausage of the day was incredible. The sauce! The meat! Nums.
  • The pompierie is a hot nut delicious sauce. Must have.
  • Vegan options!! Very good pizza.
  • I feel that they should put more toppings on the pizza. It comes out sad looking. Staff was nice although I feel they should be a little more flexible when it comes to customizing daily special pizza
  • Try the Pizza!!!
  • Authentic Italian-style pizza with interesting ingredients like pork belly. They don't cut it, and instead you get scissors -- which I really like!
  • Pizza is yummy and they have specials for beer when you get to keep the glass.
  • I thought the pizza was pretty good. I ordered a Margherita pizza. Tasty!
  • I love their white pizza and arancini. Pork belly pizza is also pretty good.
  • Nope. Mainly the service was very slow (you have to queue and it doesn't move fast), especially if you're in a larger group. Drunken Horse was okay I guess, but don't take white pizzas...
  • Pizza & soup
  • Try the Fresh Ricotta and Honey appetizer - and save some for desert!
  • This is pretty much the best pizza I've ever had. Ever. And I've eaten Chicago deep dish.
  • Pompieri Pizza is my favorite hands down.Best in N. Carolina. Must try this restaurant.
  • This is my favorite pizza place in Durham. I usually get the Margherita but their meat specials are great too!
  • Get the daily special sausage pie
  • The Drunken Horse pizza (no horse meat) and mozzarella ball of yarn were both killer. These guys won't take to-go orders over the phone, but with a 900 degree pizza oven, your food won't take long.
  • Fountain pucks soda! Awesome bartenders! Kitchen staff was even friendly! Awesome pizza!
  • An aquaponic system is used in-restaurant to produce the basil for their pies. Big ups!
