Tips

  • We don't know if Pepe or Mito is responsible for the chipotle wine sauce at this Deep Ellum Tex-Mex institution, so we'll just thank them both for their enduring and delicious menu. [Eater 28 Member]
  • Try the Botanas Platter
  • Be aware of the margarita's. They are good and strong!
  • Ask for Diego - he is the best waiter and will take good care of you!
  • Homemade flour tortillas, chips and hot sauce, queso, albondigas soup, tacos Nortenos, and chipotle enchiladas are their best dishes. These are facts.
  • have to order the tacos
  • great fresh mexican food and their chips are sooo addictive!
  • Get salsa, salsa, and more salsa
  • I always go for the fajitas. Awesome tortillas.
  • I'm not gonna say that Diego is a great waiter...wait...that's exactly what I'm gonna say. What a nice & helpful dude.
  • This Deep Ellum mainstay won last year's award for Best Tex-Mex in Dallas with homemade tortillas, great Margaritas, tacos and tamales.
  • Great patio and brunch.
  • Do not order the chipotle sauce. It literally tastes like vomit.
  • Great food. Poor service
  • Great spot! Highly Recommend. If visiting from out of town its only a $6 Uber ride from Downtown.
  • Fajitas where great!
  • Ran out of chips.
  • Chipotle wine sauce chicken enchiladas, in case you didn't pick up on that from other tips. Grab a table on the shaded patio when the weather is nice.
  • The food is great! I had the flautas. They have amazing service. Great place to eat and drink margaritas at if you're ever in Deep Ellum.
  • Street Tacos
