  • Chef Matty Matheson is the antithesis to the 1990s version of a gourmand: tattooed and handled @mattydeathbro. With talent in the kitchen, hes the epitome of 2013s chef du jour. [Eater 38 Member]
  • This 6,000 square foot industrial space offers live music in the basement and an always-packed restaurant on the ground floor. If youre there for brunch, try the buttermilk pancakes.
  • Ask for the chefs table in the kitchen. The atmosphere is great, you're close to the action and you can see your own dish in the making...
  • This restaurant-bar-dance-club hideaway has all the hipsters heading West for a night of haute cuisine and live-music.
  • TIFF 2012 TIP: If you want to show out-of-towners what Toronto nights out are like, bring them here. The menu is smart, the beer is cold, and the music is loud. It's worth the schlep to Parkdale
  • Try the P&L burgers! So juicy! Good selection of drinks and awesome staff!
  • P&L burger! Juicy as hell!
  • I've been back 4 times now for different occasions! Here are the highlights: wait times are short to none, fish and bean dishes are done really well here, and try the Wednesday burger & pint deal.
  • Winner of burger wars
  • Good selection of beer on tap, Burger was good but tasted like the chef accidentally drop in too much salt into the ground.
  • For something different, ask for a spot near the open kitchen. Fun to chat with the kitchen staff and watch the meals being made.

  • The tagliatelli pasta dish was over salted and pig's face was disappointing . Cocktails are great but terrible beer options. Would prefer to have aelection of appetizers and no mains if i returned.
  • I'm not a cocktail kind of guy but the "Dark and Swarmy" is f@$&ing delicious.
  • The brunch here does not compare to Oddfellows :(
  • Loved the roast pork belly with scallop for app; and elk loin for main.
  • A truly outstanding burger. Lots of flavors yet none overwhelm -- you can taste each topping distinctly. Loosely packed, perfectly cooked, and very beefy. Can you say "Bacon Jam"?
  • P@L burger and Fried chicken are must-haves
  • Good food, great drinks and carrying attendees in a very cozy environment. I had great time
