Foursquare Tips

  • It's a great casual place to go. They have a full bar and some good craft cocktails. You can even take your food and drinks out to the grass and sit on a blanket.
  • Really nice little place in the middle of Balboa park. Great alfresco dining. Good service. I had the fish tacos though and really didn't enjoy them.
  • Ask the bartender for a blanket and enjoy your beer and the beautiful SD weather in the sculpture garden.
  • Tasty Shrimp salad, big order good for two people. A good place for a quick bite.
  • Beautiful relaxed atmosphere, good food, good music.
  • wagyu beef burger was amazing! have a beer and relax in the sculpture park
  • Outdoor dining with yummy menu items, both food and drink.
  • Gorgeous space. Well-behaved dogs are welcome, but careful if they flip out around ducks and birds. Suzie's Farm squash special was delicious!
  • The ideal place for a picnic. Smart thinking to sell the concept we are in an art park and you can get a snack and beer
  • Great place to grab a drink while visiting Balboa Park. Plenty of craft beer on tap, and blankets provided to enjoy the grassy lawn while gazing upon the tower.
  • Braques' Poppies pairs well with the Cobb.

  • Theres a separate line for drinks. Dont be daunted by the long food line. Grab a blanket on a sunny day and sit in the sculpture garden.

  • Single line for drinks can take a while so why not decide what you want BEFORE you get to the cashier, hmm? Great location, being able to enjoy the open grass area.
