Foursquare Tips

  • Absolutely reserve the Chef's Table AND "The Full Experience" (tour of the restaurant, private wine tasting w/the sommelier,and cook w/the chef). 8 course meal, $20 corkage fee.
  • Feeling fancy? Mark Dommen is one of the best, but least hyped, chefs in the Bay Area. His six-course tasting menu ($79) is a bargain for the quality. Try the chocolate toffee almond crunch cake here.
  • I had Fried Calamari and Chickpea Fries along with a couple of Anchor Steams at the bar. The food is excellent, so are the beers on tap.
  • Swank ambiance and personalized customer service. Delish cuisine, especially the salmon-topped melon squares and the bacon-wrapped pork loin atop creamed spinach and a baked apple slice.
  • Try the Chocolate Souffle
  • Grilled octopus-FTW!!
  • Don't miss the Weekly Beast, it's phenomenal.

  • Delicious Pinot Noir for $5/glass at happy hour.
  • Almost everything on the menu is great. The one disappointment is the cauliflower side, which was insipid.
