Foursquare Tips

  • Kalguksu + king sized dumplings = bliss on a wintery night
  • They are SERIOUS about garlic.
  • The noodles are so tasty. You must try the dumplings too.
  • While they may have the best+most-garlicky kimchi around, they also offer free mouth-wash in the bathroom! So eat away!
  • Got super discriminated here. Never even got to eat. Had to leave with my girlfriend after being ignored for half an hour. I'll never come back.
  • Most recommended place for kalguksu. However, highly overrated!! Food is just OK. If u don't speak korean , good luck with communicating.. . ..?
  • Kal guk soo: the chicken broth was tasty. The noodle was smooth. Dumplings got tiny bits of meats and lots of chives. The skin was a bit too thick. Not bad. It comes w just so so kimchi. Good dish.
  • No longer 24/7 :( Sunday thru thurs, closes at 2am, Friday and Saturday closes at 3am
  • It's just noodles which I'm not really crazy over but it's good.
  • I still don't know what its called, but ask 'em for the jalapeno+green onion soy sauce when getting the mandu. Its a GREAT dipping sauce for these
  • Delicious steamed dumplings and knife cut chicken noodle soup - unique in that the chicken is ground rather than torn
  • Dumplings and the kalgukso.
  • Came here for the mandu dumplings, found them really good. Gotta try other stuff next time.
  • The garlic stench permeates the entire block at this fluorescent bomb of a restaurant on Koreatown's stretch of Wilshre Blvd. Ideal after long hours at the local karaoke rooms or Korean bars.
  • They stop letting people in at 11:20PM now
  • Dumplings, man dumplings. And just say yes to bottomless kimchi
  • Korean chicken noodle soup ftw
  • Loved their Chicken Noodle Soup (Kalguksu) and their dumplings... Super great!! I will definitely come back again
  • Pork dumplings are delicious.
