Tips

  • Masala dosa is a must. Very clean and efficiently run place.
  • This place operates like Swiss clockwork. Hygiene is impeccable, service is fast but friendly and the food: wow. My Mysore style masala dosa was crazy tasty. I could have easily gone for seconds.
  • One of the best South Indian restaurants in SG, serving mainstays like idli & thosai. Definitely the cleanest!
  • One of the best South Indian restaurants in Singapore. Try the vada sambar and rava dosa. They have daily specials as well which look super tasty. The filter coffee is just divine!
  • Masala dosa: Interesting tri-fold serving. & their base is made fr black lentils & rice (although a waiter said red rice), which gives it a darker skin. Interesting flavour :-)
  • Does of all kinds
  • Quite crowded irrespective of the time so come early and be ready to wait. But boy oh boy is the wait worth it
  • Vegetarian everything
  • Pudi idli. Yummy miniature idlis coated with chutney pudi (aka gunpowder) & ghee. Would order again
  • They have unique/interesting daily specials, even for specific meal times only. Check the menu
  • Vadai. Eat their base Uddin vada (savoury lenthil donut): plain, or soaked in sambhar or rasam. Available daily. Maddur vada (made fr rice flour & semolina) available fr Tue evening to Thu only
  • Looks lik only karnataka based resturant in Singapore. Tastes as best as the authentic Jayanagar MTR outlet. But quite expensive compared to competitors.
  • The food was life changing. One of the best dosa and idly Ive had in life.
  • Extra sambhar, raitha or chutney dips are chargeable. Sambhar: stewed lenthil-based dip. Raitha: yogurt-based dip; Chutney: dip without yogurt
  • Podi Idly is one of my go-to dishes if I see it on any menu. Their version of podi is spicier than some other places. What I like is the size of the tiny idlis and bite from the lentils.
  • I'm addicted to their Maddur Vada. Will go-to takeaway snack.
  • Best Dosa ,idli & south indian fare!!! Must visit
  • Great value Indian restaurant. Fast service, delicious masala. $5 per dish. No alcohol.
  • Really good vadai and carrot halwa. Not too impressed with the masala dosa,I think you can get better ones in Little India.Service was really quick though, which is great.
