Tips

  • don't skip dessert - tres leches cake is ridiculous.
  • "This drink has the alcohol content of 2 drinks." - Chad, head bartender, talking about the "How Bizarre." Two thumbs up.
  • whoa get the stuffed cabbage please
  • Chad is a masterful bartender. Please rely on his expertise. :)
  • The cocktails are excellent. Definitely order the dumplings.
  • Sunday BBQ. Ribs, miso corn, shaved ice.
  • The choco-banana at Mott St. is one of the 100 best things we ate this year. http://tmout.us/rLOtk
  • Watch out for the roving band of Bolsheviks who try to steal fire.
  • The night market-themed menu features "everything wings," crab brain fried rice, and kimchi and Oaxaca spring rolls with chimichurri creme fraiche.
  • Standouts for me were the kimchi and Oaxaca spring rolls, oyster mushrooms and stuffed cabbage! Love everything Mott St is doing!
  • Stuffed Cabbage and Pork Jowl are tip top.
  • Grill is on!
  • Nice food nice buzz
  • Their spin on calamari is really good. Bit of spice and freshness at the same time. We also ate the brussel sprouts, wings, and split the burger. Honestly all was great.
  • Best burger in Chicago, maddeningly only offered at their bar. Cocktails are thoughtful and bartenders are cool/knowledgeable. Good luck finding a seat. RIP Ruxbin
  • The food is great with an adorable patio
  • The chefs tasting menu is the way to go.
  • Bone marrow was amazing
  • BOAT NOODLES (beef shank broth, chicken, prik phon rua, pickled serrano peppers): you may not want to share!
  • Rabbit Larp: not on the menu on the website, but it's a must
