Tips
- Came once, never returned. It's absurdly expensive and the quality and taste of their desserts is not very good. $60 for a pie, I'd expect something that doesn't taste like a 4 yr old made it...
- Don't be fooled! Milk bar doesn't actually have milk.
- Crack pie...do it!!
- Eat all the cookies!
- Milk Bar pie (ex-crack pie) is too sweet (I have a sweet tooth!) but otherwise it's good - crisp crumb & soft filling. Cornflake chocolate chip marshmallow cookie is great - nice crispy-chewy texture
- Strange setup. Ice cream served from cashier downstairs and the attendant may be busy and not paying attention. Definitely not the best Milk Bar.
- Not quite like the ones in New York but at least you get a little taste
- Compost cookie is actually really good
- What David Chang got right in Momofuku he got wrong at Milk. Everything is way too sweet. Stick to the ramen downstairs and you'll be safe :)
- Crack pie, cookies
- Cornflake chocolate chip marshmallow cookie is pretty good on days like today - when they ran out of Compost cookie.
- Marshmallow chocolate cookie!
- It was a fridge with cookies and pies for picking. Why is this so exciting?
- Had a compost cookie. It was quite good. It's like drinking the cereal milk from a sugary cereal with everything in it. Milk bar is aptly named.
- I'm not sure how people expected to be transported to New York by stepping in the Shangrila, but for a simple fridge in downtown Toronto these are some pretty good deserts. Get that corn cookie
- The cornflake marshmallow cookie is amazing.
- You should really get that Corn Cookie.
- They have ice cream now. Flavours: Cereal Milk, Double Double & a fruity looking one. It looks like it's churned in a slushie machine. New York this is not.
- The crack pie gave me euphoria.
- Go up one flight of stairs to the refrigerated room, grab your items, pay for them downstairs with the hostess. Put that crack pie in in your pie hole and rejoice.
