Foursquare Tips

  • Great value. Portions are generous and food is good quality. Not something you would expect from xintiandi
  • Honey glazed pork was divine, generous portions at reasonable prices. Recommended
  • When a restaurant serves so many different dishes from so many different places you can't really expect any of them to be that good. Average food at a good price in a noisy venue with middling service
  • At Molokai, the shrimp wontons (36RMB) illuminate why the dish is a signature pride of the Cantonese table silky packages float in a light broth that doesnt sting the tongue with MSG.
  • Laksa is really good
  • Homemade Kaya Toast works for me la
  • Set lunches are great as there is a good range to choose from. Hong Kong bbq cuts, Swiss style roast pork spaghetti, curries, low mein, etc.
  • Kaya toast off the menu! Noooooo. It was the only place in shanghai where I could find pandan kaya!
  • Beef brisket soup, lemongrass pork neck and steamed egg all so good.
  • Yummy kaya toast
  • Beef brisket curry, laksa!
  • Passable hainanese chicken rice, decent chicken curry rice (spicy enough)...
  • Overpriced. The food is pretty solid, but nothing amazing.
