Tips

  • Delicious Pastrami sandwich! Great Reuben and super tasty pulled pork sandwich. Very friendly simple place with lovely service. It's a must if you are around.
  • If you're looking for a good pastrami sandwich in Berlin: this is your place!
  • Delightful food and lovely service. Soups are great, Pastrami is delicious, cheesecake is a dream. Can get crowded at lunchtime.
  • Entrance is through the Jewish Girls' School (!) on Auguststrae, big wooden door. The pork & avocado sandwich is indeed great, and there's galleries to check out on the higher floors, too.
  • Pulled Pork Sandwich - just: perfect.
  • Get the "Shakashuka": Fried eggs with peppers and coriander seeds.
  • Apart from the fact that they open a little late for breakfast, the dish is awesome. The "pulled pork sandwich" is one of the stars in the menu together with "shakshuka". It gets crowded lunchtime.
  • Pastrami, pastrami, pastrami. And everything else, they serve. Also, I like the clean though cozy interior.
  • !
  • Sehr leckere Sandwiches!
  • The sandwiches are the closest I've found to Katz's. Very very good. And their cheesecake just became my #1 cheesecake un Berlin
  • Sehr gutes Essen.
  • My friend got a sticker in her food
  • Lecker Pastrami-Sandwich und schne Location. Altes Gebude in Bauhaus Stil. Nette Bedienung, leider etwas unorganisiert, kein Glser - keine Gabeln. Hoffentlich nur eine Momentaufnahme.
  • Pastrami sandwich can't be beat and the small one is big enough! Great food from the peach & tomato gazpacho to the cheese cake...

  • Pulled pork & avocado. Bottle of coke. Cigarette afterwards. Heaven.
  • Fanciest, best matzoh ball soup I've ever had. The pastrami is smoked in the basement and it is delightful. Can't compare to Katz's Deli but it is right up there.
  • Try their French onion soup. You can call ahead and get sandwiches to go....
