Foursquare Tips

  • Hidden gem on Upper West Side with American/Mediterranean cuisine. Chicken, risotto, and codfish all delicious. Beautiful high ceilings and old fashioned decor.
  • Good small plates and drinks at the bar
  • Loved: white asparagus and mushrooms and the Atlantic day catch cob over clam chowder. Great cocktails, too.
  • Love the decor here! The bar area is the perfect spot to grab a drink.
  • fantastic happy hour. nice bartenders. my place of record.
  • The food here is excellent, especially the salmon. The dining room is dimly lit making the menus a challenge to read but that's ok because everything else about this place is great.
  • Truffle Risotto and Octupus
  • Fantastic ambiance; high ceilings and airy feel. Squid ink pasta has a good spicy taste and codfish is delicious
  • Grilled octopus is a must.
  • the food is really excellent. I especially loved the asparagus appetizer. the room is spacious, stylish, and comfortable. I'd definitely come back
  • fairly standard American fare, but good flavors and cooked well. Definitely complement your meal with apps; go for octopus and hamachi crudo, great mix of hot and cold to warm up your meal
  • Very good codfish!
  • The chicken and skirt steak are both delicious. Start with the escarole salad - crisp and tangy and refreshing.
  • You know what goes really great with roast duck breast? A tasty bottle of Barolo you bought at the store around the corner--just make sure you come on a Tuesday, when it's no corkage fee night.
  • Food was good. Tough location though. Maybe because the space is so large.
  • The pork is awesome!
  • Every bit as good as Apiary, Chef Bryan's last place. Solid menu all the way through, highlights include the Duck, Octopus, and Risotto.
  • The special cocktail of the day had a huge jalapeno flavored ice cube in it, try it! Tasty octopus, salads and pasta in a relaxed atmosphere
  • Aside from having to wait for no real reason (We had a reservation), our meals were great and you certainly don't feel like you're sitting in the laps of the people next to you.
  • Everything was on point: sourdough bread, white bean soup, spinach ravioli, grilled porkchop
