Foursquare Tips

  • Try the Oyster Shooters !
  • Go to the Middleton and order up the oyster shooters. It's what the founding fathers would have done!
  • One of the few places nowadays where 4sq specials still work.
  • The oldest bar in Maryland. Est. 1750.
  • This circa 1750 tavern always has a lively crowd, a good beer selection, and regularly hosts live music.
  • Seafood chowder, hot crab dip & oyster shooter were all excellent!
  • Heavy Seas Brews on tap!!!!
  • Jeremiah no longer works here. Don't ask for him.
  • Great food and atmosphere!
  • Best place to come, screw Level, this is the place to be
  • In the wintertime, the tables downstairs of this historic 1750 Inn all cozily crowd around the crackling fireplace, and there's also a working fireplace upstairs in the piano room. A wintertime oasis!
  • Get an oyster shot.
  • HORRIBLE food there. I honestly felt swindled out of my money for eating there. I don't mind paying $25-$35 for an entree if it's quality food, but this kitchen made us poorly executed dishes.
  • The muscles are AMAZING.
  • Ask for Jeremiah when you go... Best Bartender in town...
  • The fish sandwich is a winner! Very large and tasty. Also, the crab cake! Mostly meat and not a lot of breading!
  • Crab cakes are some of the best I've ever had.
  • Awesome oyster and premium rib. Perfect.
  • Doesn't quite have the age inside that the "1750" label expects. Very good food. Try the tuna "nachos", more like sushi on a chip.
  • Middletons new crab cake recipe has real crab taste!
