Foursquare Tips

  • Best coffee of anywhere east of yonge and south of bloor
  • The classic espresso is sharp, acidic and full of flavour. You know it's good when the coffee sticks to the sides of the cup. Not for the Tim Hortons crowd.
  • One of the best for a Cortado in the city - try it
  • Cortado is an amazing kick of caffeine.
  • Americanomazing.
  • Great place for getting Intelligentsia beans.. !
  • try the cortado! like a cappuccino, but with a higher coffee-to-milk ratio. (not for takeout tho)
  • Best coffee in Toronto.
  • Go to Mercury Espresso Bar and treat yourself to a Macchiato or Espresso. If you order Americano, I suggest you ask for less water as it was a tad light the last time around.
  • Mixed feelings... but cappuccino was good but quite small for the price. $$$
  • One of the best tasting macchiato I ever had. I wanted a second after the first one. Best one in the city.
  • They have Synesso machine which makes the best coffee!
  • Great espresso from Pilot and other roasters
  • Chemex and beans from Phil & Sebastian Roasters
  • Good coffee that's prepared well in a nice space.
  • You might find yourself getting another
  • I don't give a shit about what anyone else says about other cafes. The cappuccinos here are the best in the city!
  • Really slow service...they seemed to be more interested in the music playing than the customers waiting in line for over 15 minutes.
  • If you buy beans for home, check out their Alchemy product, one of my favourites.
  • Strongest, best-tasting coffee in the hood.
