  • Best restaurant in San Diego. The short ribs are always a winner, but the new burrata & hummus appetizer is must. I hope Chef Carl keeps it on the menu.
  • Blueberry pies amaaaazing
  • Chef/owner Carl Schroeder has an enviable culinary resume and a solid reputation for his seasonal cuisine and thoughtful cooking style. [Eater 38 Member]
  • I highly recommend the short ribs!
  • This is easily one of the best restaurants in North County.
  • Such decadence! A treat to experience more than once. Definitely coming backn
  • On busy nights they don't give you the tasting menu. But, you can still ask for it if you want.
  • Best restaurant I've ever been to.
  • The meal might begin with a subtly spiced Indian lentil soup with a swirl of saffron crme frache and a curried vegetable samosa floating on top.
  • Best short ribs I've ever had
  • Grilled cheese app is divine when paired with a nice white wine.
  • Their 4 course meal is a good way to try multiple dishes.
  • Scottish Salmon with Spinach Ravioli was incredible!
  • Always outstanding. Bring a big appetite. Fresh high end cuisine.
  • Seafood apps are the best
  • This restaurant is a must. Stunning room and incredible service. A must is the Bleu cheese souffl, any salad they are creating and don't miss the fish. Cooked to perfection. Just go.
  • Brian Malarkey, chef of Searsucker, eats here on his nights off. He loves the Jidori chicken cordon bleu.
  • One of my absolute favorites in San Diego. The beer salad is the best salad in town. Amazing food and service. Beef short ribs are amazing. Desserts are also amazing. Renovation is nice.
  • Everything is great.
  • A just-redesigned dining room and a newly-installed pizza oven mean it's about time to revisit this chef-driven restaurant, which has reopened after a quick redo in November.
