  • There are only five pizzas worth eating in New York & Luzzos is amongst them. Nothing beats their standard gooey margarita pie. - Soraya
  • The Tartufata pizza is the best thing in NYC. Mmmm, truffles.
  • I think this is the best pizza in the city. Yes, better than _____, and yes, better than _____.
  • Go to Luzzo's and get the bufula
  • More toasted and crunchy than other Neapolitan places that pop up all over the city. And the atmosphere is good too.
  • Luzzo is real Neapolitan pizza. No bullshit.
  • Great pizza. Really a great pie. I wouldn't say it's the best, but I will guarantee everyone who goes will enjoy their pizza.
  • Amazing pizza but a long wait. Servers are a bit disorganized.
  • Tartufa pizza.. I second this
  • I tried the Tartufata (black truffle pate). 16" is a perfect two person size. I liked the thin Neapolitan crust. It was tasty, but I wouldn't consider it one of NYC's best. Draft beer: Moretti only.
  • Cute spot for a pizza date. Get the #7 with black truffle pate. So good!
  • Get the tartufta and Quadrata -has a nice crisp bottom
  • BYOB with only a $15 corkage fee! Bring a bottle of Prosecco and a bottle of Sangiovese.
  • Must try the Tartufata (truffle) pizza ! 12" for $18. rmb to tip since not included in bill (NB not open on Mon)
  • Tried the 12'' pizza with Truffle Pate. Just good to fill up 2 hungry souls. Dough had a chewy bite and thickness' just right. Be sure to eat right away ! No reservation req on a weekday night.
  • One of the best I've had in NYC.
  • The pizza is outstanding, time after time.. Absolutely blows away lots of other top rated pizza in NYC... Never disappoints. Their food is great too....
  • The spicy salami pizza with ricotta is AMAZING! crust was flaky and perfect. The fresh ricotta and spicy olive oil was absolutely delicious. But the restrooms are disgusting!! Cash and Amex only.
  • No-frills Neapolitan pizza. Thin crust, great flavor. The Ripieno is nice. Pro tip: their pasta is also delicious.
  • One of the few coal oven pizza joints left and worth going. The Diavola is too legit to quit!
