  • The hummus is to die for. The pear salad is yummy too.
  • The mussels are excellent and very fresh.
  • Libertad is truly an EXCEPTIONAL restaurant. Looking for a great meal at a great place. Get in the car and take a drive to Skokie.
  • Chef Armando Gonzalez freely invites foreign flavors to his small-plate fiesta, as in silky scallops with black rice, yuzu, and Chinese long beans, all dripping with habanero butter sauce.
  • Go for the skirt steak. Underneath a heap of yuca frites and a smear of chimichurri, the chef pulled off a juicy, medium skirt steak.
  • Go small and get your tapas here, Mexican style
  • Small but very good food.
  • Drinks, poblano, skirt steak and cheese cake
  • The hummus is one of our all time favorites. The octopus was a big hit for 4 of us. The scallops with black rice is unbelievably good. The lamb shank just fell off the bone.
  • The staff were very friendly, and helpful with both the menu and the service. I had the Hummus and Squash dishes, along with their signature cocktail, and they were ahhh-maaayyyyyzzzziing!!!
  • It's hidden gem!
  • Hummus scallops pork steak
  • Everything is absolutely amazing. The service, drinks/cocktails, and food was all 5 stars. Food try: Pulpo, Venado, Asada; Drinks: Horchata (not your mothers Horchata). Buen Provecho!
  • Just tried the brunch menu , average
  • Hummus, pears, scallops, Carne asada, margaritas
  • Everything but especially hummus and octopus
  • Amazing, trendy food in the burbs. Vegetarians and meat eaters can eat happily ever after here. Cocktails are great, too.
  • Melt in your mouth butta! So delicious the entire meal.
  • OMG fine dining in Skokie
  • Crab cake is better than spongebob's crabby patty fo sho.
