  • This restaurant doesn't mess around when it comes to birds. Eggs, chicken, duck dishes are excellent. Even the simple salad is great. Their first location is near the Sacre coeur in Paris.
  • You're definitely in for a treat when you order anything from this menu. Order the offal platter to start and enjoy the duck.
  • The whole chicken dishes are great. And the sides (fries, mac and cheese) very good. The decor is strange though.
  • Beautiful restaurant and great place for rotisserie chicken lovers. The sides are amazing (mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, French fries). The vegetable salad app was also amazing and very fresh
  • Well worth the price. Fois gras was so...comforting. New Hampshire was a bit gamey, but the gravy enhanced it wonderfully. Dessert was light and delicious.
  • mixed mushrooms are a perfect match for the quarter rotisserie chicken.
  • The old school one man show approach to hospitality is fun albeit intense at times. The bird is good for sure but advise you to be adventurous. Definitely save room for dessert: signatures a winner
  • That Ile Fondante tho!? One of the best desserts I've ever had. Slow cooked eggs, butternut squash soup and the 120 day old stuffed chicken all exceptional. Come with a large party and enjoy!
  • DELICIOUS! Had the quarter chicken and what we came for: the floating island dessert. Phenomenal. For 2, highly recommend sitting at the kitchen vs one of the small tables in the entryway.
  • le flottsnte according to the Times
  • The Bitches say: A. Le Coq Rico serves authentic French fare with perfectly-cooked meats and a refreshingly different brunch menu. Dont miss the desserts.
  • Desserts are the best thing on the menu.
  • You'll get a claim check for leftovers, which are discreetly packaged (including the jus). Included is a recipe card for Chef Westermann's Poultry Broth Bouillon with Seasonal Vegetables.
  • Birds are delicious. Try the quarter chicken and ask Francis to sit by the kitchen!
  • The chicken is tender and very flavorfull, its a must try. And save from for dessert, their l'lle flottante is a sweet tooth's dream!
  • The best $96 chicken ever. Really. De-Lish.
  • Best overpriced chicken in the city
  • Great pate , duck and dessert!! All delicious ... On the expensive side
  • Amazingly delicious chicken! As you would expect @ $95/bird The French bird was very flavorful. Yukon potato pure is a must w/ the Napoleon a great dessert to share. Service is top notch!
  • Le Coq Rico means The Bistro of Beautiful Birds in French, and its name doesnt disappoint--its all about the poultry (and the eggs) here. Even the macaroni au gratin has chicken morsels inside.
