  • The pupusas are awesome! Two should normally do - three if you've whiffed a lot of (second hand) weed on the way down Mission St.
  • best pupusas in sf. get the pork/beans/cheese ones, slather with hot sauce, and eat with the slaw. there's a pupusa platter which comes with 2 pupusas and rice and beans. i just get 1 with a salad.
  • everyone says it for a reason- get the pupusas, especially beans and cheese or pork beans and cheese.
  • The pupusas are so cheap and delicious. Also try the Salvadorean empanadas (plantain dumpling stuffed with milk pudding or beans and then deep fried).
  • Best pupusas in SF. Get the pork/beans/cheese one. You'll be full on 2.
  • Pupusas Revueltas pork/cheese combination $1.75 each delish! Get it go as the place is alway crowded.
  • Get the pupusas. Especially the pork/beans/cheese one. I try to order just one and a side salad.

  • Try the pupusas!
  • Friendly folks, but not the place to come if you're in a hurry.
  • This place so good! Best pupusas and curtido- fresh and non-greasy. Service is also super friendly.
  • Papusa stuffed with beans and cheese, served with coleslaw and hot sauce. Fish soup is ok $15
  • Had the cheese and loroca and the pork and beans papusas and the atol de elote and am sad to say that all were just kind of unexciting, tamer versions of the real thing
  • Oh definitely get the papusas. $2 each. Would highly recommend the pork and beans and the cheese and Loroca
  • Pupusas de queso con loroco y chicharron
  • Order 2 pupusas (bean meat cheese) and platanos fritos with sour cream and beans
  • Two pupusas revueltas ($4). tack on an order of plantains with crema or a glass of nutty, sweet Salvadoran horchata made with toasted seeds.
  • Pupusas. Chicharron. Get multiples.
  • Panes con pavo is great on a cool summer day. Not heavy but very filling. And the horchata & tamarindo is some of the best ever
