  • Really laid back, great bbq and I love the picnic vibes! Awesome recommendation from Supper:
  • The Kerlins are newbies, but have made a strong showing right off the bat: They use sweet-smelling pecan wood and crank out pork ribs and sausage to die for.
  • Brisket was great, as was the banana pudding
  • The brisket, duh. All the sides are good too!
  • Kolaches are delicious! Love the boss hog.
  • If your stomach can't last the wait at Veracruz, Kerlin BBQ is a worthy alternative. Pork Ribs (black pepper rub) are the best. Jalapeo Dill Potato Salad was excellent. Veggie Kolache wasn't good.
  • Outstanding sleeper BBQ spot with excellent brisket, pork ribs. Blue cheese coleslaw is an innovation on par with the iPhone. Some say kolaches are the move except that kolaches are never the move.
  • The pork ribs and sausage are unreal. Pass on the coleslaw, it's made with cheese and too heavy for a hot summer day.
  • Brisket, pork ribs, blue cheese slaw, jalapeo dill potato salad all delicious
  • Jalapeo fill potato salad is to die for. Pro tip: order tacos at Veracruz and while they're cooking up stand in line at Kerlin
  • Worth sitting outside in the heat for this meat. Cool off with a glass of Topo-Chico and get the brisket!

  • Fall off the bone pork ribs, beef sausage with great snap and flavor, and moist brisket with tasty bark. No line at noon on a Friday. Will have to come in morning for kolaches next time.
  • Brisket kolaches are pretty much amazing.
  • The ribs and pulled pork are the stars + the owners are the nicest people ever. IMO the brisket needs work to stand up to the local competition.
  • Brisket is fantastic and moist. The pork rib falls off the bone. However, I am not a fan of the sauce. Will still come back again and again.

  • Y'all can keep Franklin. Kerlin BBQ has great: Beef Ribs, Pork Ribs, Brisket, Sides, Banana Cream, & Big Red. Happy Ex-Texan.
  • Ran out of brisket so I tried the pork shoulder, it was quite excellent. Sauce is a spicy vinegar base and it made for a good reasonably priced sammich. Can always use another good BBQ place!
