Tips
- A pretty good Japanese restaurant!
- Place is small, but it's one of the best & authentic Japanese restaurants in HK! Try the tuna fish with scallions over rice ;) also, great sushi & sashimi set lunches. Mr. Kenjo is friendly too!
- Easily the best Japanese restaurant I've been to for sushi. Always the freshest ingredients and Kenjo-san is super friendly! (:
- Great if you want to burn cash on excellent Japanese (warning...it's expensive). You should ask to sit at the bar across from Kenjo-san.
- I hate seafood but that rocks! So goddamn fresh...
- The baby tuna rocks!
- Omakase and let the chef surprise you.
- Get the lunch sushi set. Very reasonable price for incredibly fresh fish. One of the top quality in Hong Kong
- We came for a Saturday lunch. My feeling was mixed. The quality varies across different set lunches. Bit disappointed given such cost. Good service though
- best sushi meal I've ever had! one can sense stuff's devotion to food: place looks plain from outside I thought it's closed, chefs don't talk just focus on food, they all greet you when you come
- Nothing! Dont order the chef special, massive rip-off
- I am not into asian food but this place rocks. Sit on the bar. Chef is cool and funny. He prepares, u eat. Cosy atmosphere. Authentic sushi
- The chef has a special technique in preparing the wasabi maki that make it not so spicy and pungent, then you can enjoy its unique fragrance !!
- Must order the zuke-akami nigiri but please ask for a thin cut !
- Salmon was very good and the lunch sets were a deal. Recommend for a good lunch for a reasonable price
- Please book in front of Kenjo-san for Omakase dinner. You will be pleased with the generous cut by Kenjo-san and please treat him the house sake as a matter of courtesy.
- Great deal for quality sushi for lunch (~150HKD per set). Their Japanese lunch box comes with a wide assortment of Japanese dishes for $180HKD.
- Unbelievably fresh & delicious. Go for the lunch special, and make sure to make reservations! The place is small and gets full fast.
- Great food and kenjo is a master. The problem is he can't retain staffs. His current batch of chefs are under-trained and they mumbles grunts against kenjo while they make sushi. Wtf!?
