Foursquare Tips

  • Joe's indoor-outdoor parkside cafe pairs Brulee Bakery and Ovenly baked goods with two dozen hot and iced eye-openers.
  • Cold brew is excellent. If you drink coffee black then trying this is a must in my opinion. The decaff is great too!
  • An affogato is a great way to get your caffeine fix on a hot day. Ice cream + espresso!
  • Vegan chocolate chip cookie is amazing. This is coming from someone who is extremely not vegan.
  • Cappucino is great
  • The cappuccino is good, but seems to be a little larger in ounces of milk than I remembered from the original Waverly St location in NY, so it tastes more milky like a latte.
  • Cold brew is excellent!
  • Good cup of coffee but $2.50 for a large is a little steep. Conveniently located across from Rittenhouse Square and they have soy milk (which is a huge plus for me).
  • In addition to good coffee and chai, Joe offers cool classes like cupping, the art of roasting, and barista workshops. Ask them about Joe Ed!
  • Too cold, expensive... And cold brew here is not cold brew.
  • Cappuccino
  • Outstanding latte and hot chocolate
  • Very good drip coffee that has well balanced taste and strength. Lattes and mochas are very well done too. Tends to be quite crowded, so don't expect to sit here and read or work.
  • The best coffee in Philly!
  • Probably the best chai latte of all time. The berry berry oat bar is also delicious.
  • Great cold brew!
  • Great coffee and great space for working.
  • My chocolate croissant today was the perfect balance of flaky, crispy and chocolatey. Yum!
  • Lots of comments about the cold brew here. My iced latte was none too shabby as well.
  • Chai tea lattes!
