Tips

  • The Sapporo-style miso ramen broth boasts more than twenty ingredients, including three types of umami-boosting miso, plus a piquant seven-pepper spice blend.
  • No matter which ramen you choose, be sure to add in a poached egg. When broken, the yolk creates this creamy rich texture that cannot be beat. Top it off with some corn and BYOB. Slurp away everyone!
  • The fire ball puts the pussy on the chainwax.
  • This is the best ramen place I've had in the city, hands down. Chicken Meatball Ramen with a Fireball dropped in. You're welcome.
  • Try the Nagoya, made with a chicken, pork and fish broth filled with minced pork, Chinese leek, scallion, bean sprouts and chili pepper.
  • Sample variations of regional ramen and then some from around Japan at this Queens noodle nook. The cant-miss Sapporo-style miso ramen involves a broth made from more than 30 ingredients.
  • The vegetarian broth is quite yummy
  • Five dollars for great takoyaki with a good chunk of octopus.
  • Wings here are crisp, meaty, and sweet.
  • By far the best ramen soup in Queens. Try the Hinomaru soup, that's the house specialty. So delicious!
  • I like the shio ramen the most. Add a poached egg to it for extra body and creaminess.
  • Simpler ramen orders are the best at this Japanese noodle bar.
  • Nagoya ramen is great for those who likes spicy taste. Kinda like tan-tan noodle. Add extra fireball then you are in heaven.
  • Uni ramen with Parmesan....left me speechless. Mmmmmm.
  • Hinomaru New York style ramen with a fireball!
  • Hard to find solid ramen spots in this neck of the woods, so a welcome addition. Try the house HinoMaru ("New York" style) with chashu and other toppings sitting in a creamy pork broth.
  • Amazing ramen! Got to try the spicy miso with the pork fireball
  • I would gladly make the trip to Astoria to have some of their curry Ramen any day!! Attentive, impressive and priced very nicely.
  • The Hinomaru with creamy pork broth is soooo gooooooood!!! Nice and spicy!
  • Delicious and belly-filling, you can't go wrong with anything, but be sure to ask about specials. The Tonkotsu Shoyu is quite possibly the best soup I've ever had, and the gyoza are great too!
