Tips

  • Get das boot man!
  • If you're going to order the weiner schnitzel, I recommend the Copenhagen sauce. Get the German fried potatoes for one of your side dishes.
  • Good times!
  • Play a classic game of darts downstairs. The stairs to get there are to the left of the front double doors, behind the inconspicuous looking door.
  • Fantastic bar with a great staff. Feel like chilling? Stay upstairs. Wanna party? Head downstairs.
  • German food and boots of beer.
  • wood chuck cider with cinnamon schnapps. Its like Christmas!
  • the food and boots are good but the jukebox is rigged. tried to play 18 songs tonight but heard 0
  • I think they forgot to spice the Cajun poboy. Stick to sausage and beer.
  • Avoid dealing with the owner (old woman)! She is a textbook example of an old-school nazzi and has no respect for the customers. Nevertheless she likes to hang around spoiling it for everybody.
  • Das boot in weaker beer = better idea
  • Bring a deck of cards, some friends and enjoy the tunes in the basement. Great place to meet the local young crowd
  • Downstairs
  • Great authentic German food! I love this place. I go every time I'm in Ann Arbor.
  • Amazing and authentic German food!
  • Ann Arbors best spot, especially on the weekdays. The basement rathskeller is where to be. Good late night stop.
  • I absolutely love the authentic German pub feel of the Heidelberg. It always seems to be more fun in the basement. The potato skins are amazing when paired with a delicious das boot filled with beer.
  • Drink, Dance, and Be Merry
  • Pretty slow service. Good food though
  • Burgers are the best!!!!
