Tips

  • The Ma La dishes are mouth numbingly delicious!
  • Ma la pork chop is the best!
  • The mouth-numbing Ma Po Tofu is all you need here!
  • So spicy, so filling. I recommend ordering a soda if you get any of the ma la dishesbecause as delicious as chili oil is, it definitely makes water taste funky.
  • Ma la 3 pepper tofu!!!!!
  • Came here for the spicy food - spicy, but not overwhelming. The salt comments are absolutely true - its like they dumped buckets of salt in the food. Cant even finish the meals.
  • A very nice seafood combination platter.
  • Mapo tofu!
  • If you're looking for spicy check out the Ma La menu. The Ma Po Tofu is one of the best I've had in DC
  • Three pepper chicken and the twice cooked pork. Get the ma la..
  • Not too terribly sure how this place has such a high rating. They first of all didn't give me half of what I ordered (but happily charged for it) and their food was overly greasy.
  • Christmas dinner here was amazing.
  • The spicy boiled fish with vegetable is something I order on a frequent basis.
  • Crab Rangoon was stale and little cream cheese and crab meat
  • Twice cooked pork is awesome.

  • Crispy beef was a pleasant surprise. Mala chicken with veggies is a consistently good.
  • Their hot & sour soup can cure almost anything.
  • Ma La Wontons. Order them.
  • Get the mala to go. Also seafood fried rice small order is generous
