  • Gladysseems determined to do for the sandwich what Frannys helped to do for pizza, elevating it from pedestrian fast food to something worth sitting down and waiting for.
  • If you're looking for Carribbean food, don't come here. It's like the Chiptole of Mexican food. Unauthentic, a pale imitation of true Carribbean food. Not even their jerk chicken is real.
  • Low prices and primo ingredients arent mutually exclusive at this retro-inspired Crown Heights sub shop, where aqua Formica walls and a lip-curling 70s punk soundtrack set the mood.
  • The menu has jerk chicken and lobster, curry goat, smoked duck sausage, and oxtail stew. The prices are low, and so far diners seem to be digging the new menu.
  • Their chicken is superlative, and that lobster can be fun to split, but the pork is unmatched, its succulence and richness in harmony with the punch of allspice and chiles.
  • As of April 2014, it's now a Caribbean restaurant. Buncha jerks.
  • Shake hands with mike!
  • Lavender creme fraiche ice cream. Don't ask, just order. Trust.
  • Try the jerk pork and vinegar slaw. The slaw is as tart and spicy as the drinks are boozy. And the selection of rums is superb. Try a flight.
  • Try the tender and (not too) spicy jerk chicken, the rice and peas with a hint of coconut, and most importantly, the Dark & Slushy!!!
  • Here for brunch? Get the tuna confit- it's ridiculously delicious.
  • If you love freedom get the Brocc' Obama and wash it down with some delicious Pinkus Pilsner. And it would be a huge shame to miss out on the crispy potatoes, so don't.
  • meat plate, pickles, duck, beets, corn, tomatos, beef sammie, elegant and affordable gewurtztraminer, black walnut ice cream = the time i very happily rolled home from franklin ave. EAT HERE!
  • New York Magazine Cheap Eats issue recommends the Octo for $12.
  • Excellent food, excellent service, excellent music! The pollos hermanos was insanely good. Eat it!
  • Yes, the sandwiches are big enough that they are filling, as well as delicious!
  • Beware, the "pickles" are actually pickled beets and other vegetables, not traditional pickles.
  • Jerk seitan! Amazing. Vegans rejoice!
  • Jerk Chicken and Peas and Rice
  • For filling and delicious get the Jerk Chicken with sides.
