  • Literally a step back in time. Very few places like this left in the village. Get a Martini and watch the geriatrics.
  • Mussels Oreganata. Fried scallops. Exceptional.
  • Nostalgic old school Italian with white table cloth, waiters with ties. We had the mesclun salad, Alfredo fettuccine and then the veal Marsala. All excellent. Highly recommend!
  • Classic Greenwich spot. Plan to stay for a while with a bottle of wine.
  • Very special.
  • Real, classic NY Italian! Salad and zucchini fries were great. Like taking a step back in time for sure.
  • veal marsala or light-as-air manicotti. Been around since 1919
  • Loved the place and chicken parm
  • Old school Italian in a space that feels like your grandma's basement, but in a good way, and with amazing chicken parm.
  • Very Dean Martin in the best way possible. Love this place!
  • Best spinach salad and Tuscan roasted chicken.
  • Nothing like Gene's! Have a martini!
  • Franco mixes a mean martini and the entire staff is so hospitable!
  • Always good Village people watching
  • have one of the best Perfect Manhattans without any fuzz or weirdness - just good!
  • Eat at the bar, drink a Martini, order the specials, and return to the 60's
  • Delicious Italian food paired with an old time interior and friendly service make for a place youll want to keep coming back to.
