Foursquare Tips

  • The waiters are so caring and awesome. Ask for recommendations!! Also, the Nutcracker is a stellar drink, worth the NYC price
  • Get a pitcher of sangria and the pollo a la brasa or lomo saltado. Yup, it's gonna be a good night.
  • Delicious chicken!!! Great food so cheap you feel you are ripping the restaurant off
  • the lomo saltado is one of my favorite dishes in ny
  • Flor De Mayo isn't a fusion restaurant rather, both cuisines coexist harmoniously on a menu that may seem like a cut and paste job at first glance.
  • One of the only, and the best, Cubano Chino restaurants in NYC. Start with the Sangria and then dive into some Peruvian Chicken with Roast Pork Fried Rice. Beware of the crowds!
  • Lomo SaLtado & NutCracker= Awesomeness!
  • Lomo saltado a must. The Chinese menu is great as well. Peruvian style.
  • Red Sauce Shrimp with Avocado Salad and a Nutcracker are to die for !!!!
  • ALWAYS, I mean ALWAYS ask for a NUTCRACKER. The BEST in the city!!!!
  • Mix it up with a whole Pollo a la Brasa (Peruvian Chicken) and Squid Fried Rice. Best of both worlds.
  • Split a side of tostones or platanos maduro with your mate.
  • Chicken is amazing!
  • The Lomo Saltado and Pollo a la Brasa fulfills the rare trinity of food in Manhattan: cheap, good, and filling.
  • You must try the Peruvian chicken and squid ink fried rice. Amazing.
  • Try the Pollo A La Brasa
  • order: the steak or chicken lomo w/egg fried rice+ your choice in the rice. and dont 4get a nut cracker or a super nutcracker if your up to it.
  • Got to have a Nutcracker!!!! Oh and their rotisserie chicken!!! AMAZING!!!!!!
  • Half pitchers of sangria are enough for almost four glasses... Do it now!
  • GO TO AMSTERDAM AVE & 84TH ST IN UPPER WEST SIDE OF MANHATTAN TO FLOR DE MAYO FOR THE GREAT SPANISH (PERUVIAN) & ASIAN (CHINESE) CUISINE.
