Tips

  • Loot the zoos from chef of the Sioux too and groom the zoom all around true flue glues.
  • Demand that Lisa is your server.
  • Get the mint sweet tea!
  • Great spot, best food in Pensacola, by far. The patio is nice to sit on and they have live music some nights inside if you are into that whole live band while you eat type of thing.
  • Get the chicken and waffles!
  • Best fried chicken EVER! Love this place. Perfect place to go when you are in the mood for some soul food!
  • MINT SWEET TEAAAA!!!!
  • Get there well before 11:00 on a Sunday! Amazing food but long wait if you aren't early!
  • Pulled pork sandwich and a Pensacola bay brewery porter, FTW. For sublimity add the fried green tomatoes
  • This place was outstanding! Loved it. Out family of four enjoyed the southern cooking ... Awesome soul food, great service.
  • Chicken and waffles.
  • Banana bread pudding and the fried green tomatoes are my favs.
  • Great true southern food & live music
  • Love the food, music and atmosphere of the restaurant inside and the patio
  • Family friendly, great food, cool atmosphere.
  • Can't go wrong with the chicken & waffles
  • Try the Mint Iced Tea
  • We heard "Curt Bol" band playing while we waited for our table. Sat at the bar and got great service from Whitney. She rocks it!!!
  • Food and local beer is absolutely delicious... Lighthouse Porter is a must! Took forever and not so good service though.
  • The cafe may be best known for its fried chicken, but don't overlook the daily specials. Blackened catfish fillets over cheese grits will have you scraping the bottom of the dish for more.
