  • A new place on the Hartford restaurant scene, Firebox is a foodies dream. Local ingredients with the citys top chef talent. FREE food and drink every Thursday from 6 to 7 pm. to give you a taste.
  • My vote for best restaurant in Hartford. Great farm-to-table ingredients. Sweet corn polenta was excellent; charcuterie plate is superb; duck breast also rocks. Can't go wrong here
  • Burgers, lunch
  • Try a Bloody Mary!! New York Strip is also amazing!!!
  • Two menus to choose from - pub and main. Buffalo fried chicken is really good!
  • I reccomend...Ben. :) Best bartender ever!
  • Best place in CT - try the Sunday Brunch
  • Great menu options for food and bev, love the atmosphere!
  • Incredible! Steak & eggs, the shrimp & grits, lobster Benny, bloody Marys, biscuits, French toast, even the swizzler cant go wrong
  • Get the Brussels sprouts. I always hated them growing up but wow these are good
  • I love Firebox. The folks who work there are kind and great at what they do. Food, cocktail, and wine selections are diverse and delicious. Local fresh ingredients are featured in every dish. Superb!
  • Delicious but very small portions.
  • Get the brussel sprouts! They are to die for! Everything we had was delicious, I would totally go back again. Our entrees were the duck and the rib eye, both cooked to perfection. I recommend both!
  • Brilliant cocktails!
  • Amazingly fresh vegetarian options. Beautiful atmosphere. Great service. A special place.
  • Everything at the Firebox is top notch
  • Everything is delicious
  • We had oysters, squash soup, pate, pork chops, mussels and organic chicken. It's a creative menu but some of the dishes don't work. Also, restaurant is loud and vibrant. Drink and wine menu are good
  • Great brunch
  • Been there 3 times. Quality inconsistent, food very expensive for what it was. The chicken was poorly paired with overly spicy mustard and the bucatini pasta was overdressed. Duck was good.
