Foursquare Tips

  • Franck Pecols artisan bakery serves up a croque monsieur (40RMB) so delicious that despite the high price, we find ourselves going back for it again and again.
  • Prepare yourself for the hot cocoa - it's thick and rich and smells like it's fresh from Charlie's chocolate factory.
  • The best Choux a la crme!
  • Hipster Boulangerie *100 BUT provide really good bread and ptisserie. They speak Chinese, English and French ;-) worth a try if you are not far
  • Who would have thought one can find rhubarb in China? This seasonal (I think) tart is simply mind blowing. You pay for what you get - definitely one of the best bakeries in Shanghai.
  • Strong coffee and delish baguettes n pastries
  • Breakfast of champions. 38 for croissant and coffee
  • Farinecaf au lait
  • Phenomenal! The wafting smell of baked bread permeates the entire neighbourhood. Smells like home.
  • Great coffee, best bread and croissants!
  • The raspberry tart is definitely a little box of happiness. Fresh raspberries and great jam with nice sour jam. Heavenly good. Tips: you need a bit of luck to catch them serving raspberry tart.

  • I rarely eat pastries unless they are exceptional. These are exceptional. Great croissants and pastry bars. Try the cheese cake one!
