Tips

  • The BEST coffee crunch cake in the city. Get a slice if you don't get the whole cake.
  • When it comes to authentic, best tasting & quality Chinese pastry, nothing can get better than what they sell here. I became an instant fan of their rice & moon cakes. I visit them often!
  • Egg tarts! Don't miss out on them.
  • try the lotus moon cakes.
  • The moon cake is a specialty here. We like their chocolate covered black bean mooncake.
  • Whole coffee crunch cake for $12.50 (slice for $3, half cake for $9); authentic moon cakes made in-house with our clean SF water
  • Sesame balls stuffed with black sesame paste
  • Heaps of your typical Chinese style pastries and buns!
  • Best Chinese pastries ever. You need to come here!!
  • Try the BBQ Roast Pork Bun - (via @Foodspotting)
  • The custard pie has been a tradition for us since I was a kid. Still the best I've had.
  • Try the Sesame Ball - Fresh. Still warm. One dollar.
  • Crispitos with peanut and coconut are fifty cents each and delicious!
  • Always a stop when I'm in San Francisco. Moon cakes, black bean cakes, lotus cakes and more. Delicious and very inexpensive.
  • BBQ pork buns FTW
  • Very authentic,(hole in the wall). Quick bite on grant in CTown. $1 pork buns.
  • Dont miss the moon cakes and pork buns!
  • Very inexpensive steamed buns! Vegetable steamed buns for only $1.35/ea. Lots of desserts too!
  • Get the sesame balls, these are huge and fresh!
  • Hit or miss on freshness. I really like their super wife cake - $3.50 - as wife cakes are my favorite baked good, but occasionally (a month ago), they are stale and the lard pastry is like leather.
