Foursquare Tips

  • Order the fried shrimp rolls. Cheese& shrimp wrapped in rice paper & deep fried. Yum! They're not on the menu but can't me missed.
  • A Dong dishes are made with fresh ingredients grown right outside the restaurant, and the menu (featuring over 100 dishes) hasn't changed since the restaurant opened. The owner is also the head chef.
  • Stir-fried vermicelli with tofu and bean sprouts for only $6.75. Yum!
  • 16c xxx hot. Can't beat it.
  • Anything with yu choy (greens) is a yes. My favorite Des Moines haunt.
  • 17C & veggie egg roll!
  • Be sure to ask for mint in your spring rolls. Takes them to a new level -- and they are the best rolls in town!
  • Holy cow... or should i say Chicken? I thought the curry was good, then I tried the lemongrass. Everything just keeps getting better. I love this place!

  • Add the cock sauce and housin sauce to your meal. Mix and enjoy!
  • Number 89. Nough said...
  • Any veggie dish is awesome. And, the shrimp and chicken crab ragoons are the best in town. Ask for your dish spicy. The iced coffee is out of this world!
  • Not only is the food here DELICIOUS, it's SO CHEAP! Awesome spot for vegetarians - order the 8C! And non-veggies can't go wrong with the Pho!
  • Yummy yummy
