Tips
- Great cheap Korean food. Best saeng kalbi in koreatown, and super friendly service. Can't go wrong - beware, tons of Koreans dine here, so it must be good!
- love the dohl sot bi bim bap! my Korean grandparents say the restaurant is well-known for it
- Get the Roast Gui and they'll cook kimchee fried rice on the same pan afterwards!
- Old school decor and nice BBQ selection, pricy but good food, I like the dak GUI and wait for the kimchi fried rice at the end of the meal.
- Interior looks like old Korea restaurant. Kind waitress and good manner of owner. Here using frozen meat. If you love to chewing for long time, order cheapest or next one.
- Everything is good here if you're open to trying new things. Make sure to get sikhye at the end of your mealrounds off the whole experience perfectly.
- One of the oldest Korean restaurants in L.A. Opened 1978.
- Order 2 BBQ items so you can get the free kim chee fried rice
- Plenty of banchan, which they'll happily refill upon request. You need to get the Roast Gui! They use the pan to end your meal with THE BEST kimchi bokkumbap/fried rice

- The Black cod dish is to die for! (#40) and the cold spicey noodles totally hit the spot.
- Roast GUI and GOP Chang Jung Gul are the best options
- Pretty worth it for the roast gui
- Excellent bulgogi on the grill with nice booths to sit in. Old-fashioned Korean grill house. Nice service.
