Tips

  • Amazing Korean BBQ in the West Village. Have a Pepper Margarita at the bar while you wait for your grill table. - Jon Marcus, Hunting Season
  • Have to try the Kimchi Bibimbop. Sooo good.
  • The food is authentic and pretty good, but the atmosphere tries to be a little too trendy. You can get better (and cheaper) Korean food in K-town.
  • jalapeno margarita + watercress salad!
  • amazing beverage: iced ginger cinnamon tea
  • good bibimbop
  • Amazing Cocktails
  • Love the bibimbop!
  • Half priced happy hour cocktails from 5 to 7:30 . It's all about the ginger cocktails, they are delish!
  • Try the dukboki
  • Make a reservation for dinner. More stylish than you might expect. When the waitress offers to mix your Bibimbop, just say yes. It's not weird at all...
  • Very spicy but very good and not very expensive for a Korean. Lots of flavors. I really enjoyed at lunch.
  • Had the fried beef dumplings and Chicken Bimbimbop. Super good!
  • Look for part owner Quentin Tarantino drinking a Mr. Blue cocktail, straight out of Resevior Dogs! It's blue curacao, lime juice and Stoli Vanil. Not on the menu, but ask nicely ;)
  • The food is authentic, beautifully done, AND they have decor AND cocktails. Magical combo. I had the Jae dop ban. Excellent with perilla leaves, like it's supposed to be. My fave place for Korean.
  • Great happy hour drink and food choices, 5-7:30.
  • Sit at the bar, forget BBQ, and get the boiled kimchee beef dumplings... Fresh and handmade. Add the chili paste to it... Divine!
  • Excellent Bimbambop
  • My favorite restaurant in the entire city. I've recommended so many people here I must have put the owners kids through college.
  • Watermelon soju
