Tips

  • Love their pretzel buns
  • Come home from it. Tryed bread. It is the best bakery I tried so fa in north America
  • If you're buying the delicious salty pretzels, plan to eat them quickly because the salt melts away within a day sitting in a bag!
  • Great prices for fresh bread and pastries made daily
  • Wow! 2 juices, 2 coffees, and 2 pastries for under $8?! Definitely coming back here.
  • Without question the best deal in Toronto for a great pastry and a cup of coffee. Less then $2.50!
  • The pretzels are really good. Cash only.
  • One of the best bakeries in the city. Just try their poppy seed strudel!
  • Try it all... everything is delish
  • Strudel is delicious
  • Only bakery factory that uses spring waters. Get your rye bread fix w/ a side of eclairs and German chocolate cake!
  • The bread, of course...but the coffee is pretty good too. Tough to find parking on weekends.
  • Fantastic german/dutch bakery. A traditional stop whenever I visit Toronto
  • Bread bread and more bread!
  • Their selection of German items is fantastic, my parents who are both German immigrants, love this place and swear it's just as it is home. Try the Amerikaners!
  • Simply good
  • Great place to buy buns. Kaiser buns 20 cents each. You can't go wrong with that.
  • The best pastries I've ever eaten! Though as expected, it's very crowded and parking is a bit of a hassle, but it's definitely worth it. They have a cafe but again very crowded.
  • Pastries, desserts and fresh bread
  • CASH ONLY!
